Coolabi has announced the production of a television adaptation of the children's book series "Poppy Cat" by Lara Jones. In February, Coolabi appointed U.K.-based King Rollo Films as its animation partner for the 52x11 series, which has been commissioned by Nick Jr U.K., and is due to air on the channel in 2011.

Presales are confirmed to Nick Jr Australia, RTE Ireland, YLE Finland, TV2 Norway, and TVO, SCN and Knowledge Network in Canada. Other international broadcast partners are expected to be announced in the near future by Cake Entertainment, which has signed on as global TV distribution partner for the series and will be showcasing "Poppy Cat" at MipJunior.
