Condé Nast is going to expand its branded café initiative and will form a restaurant division that will operate out of Hong Kong and will be led by Stuart Nielsen, a regional director of food and beverages for Intercontinental Hotels Group.
Initial openings will focus on Condé Nast’s
Vogue
and
GQ
titles, which already have café and bar ventures opened in Moscow. Future locations cited by the
Wall Street Journal
report include Dubai and Hong Kong. One or two openings are planned for 2011 with more to follow.
