Classic Media announced the acquisition of Olivia property from Chorion.

Olivia originated as a book series by Ian Falconer that then grew into an animated television series. Just last week, Classic Media purchased the rights to the Noddy property, part of the Enid Blyton estate, from Chorion as well.

“This is the perfect addition to our portfolio of classic properties and we look forward to bringing Olivia and her adventures to families everywhere,” says Eric Ellenbogen, co-chief executive officer, Classic Media.

“Olivia has a strong universal appeal with young girls and their families,” says Mary Durkan, managing director, Chorion. "We are thrilled that Classic Media will continue to introduce her to new audiences worldwide."
