Ludorum announced its partnership with several prominent soft goods licensees to develop the first-ever lifestyle products for its preschool property Chuggington. Merchandise will be available throughout the U.S. next year in several categories including apparel, footwear, accessories and room décor to support Chuggington’s debut on Disney Junior Feb. 14.

New products include backpacks, lunch packs and luggage (Accessory Innovations); children’s footwear (ES Originals); boys and girls t-shirts (Freeze); cold weather accessories, rainwear, umbrellas, headwear and belts (ABG Accessories); children’s pajamas (Komar Kids); socks (High Point Design); and bedding and bath décor (Jay Franco).

“We are looking forward to expanding the presence of Chuggington into new product categories such as apparel, accessories and room décor through a number of retail channels nationwide in 2012,” says Megan Buecher, director of licensing for Ludorum. “We know that fans-both children and parents alike-will be excited to find Chuggington soft goods on shelves.”

To date, more than 25 U.S. licensees have come ‘aboard’ to produce Chuggington products. This year, Chuggington merchandise will expand into categories including DVDs, interactive and wooden railway sets, electronic learning aids and Halloween costumes.
