Henry Stupp was appointed to chief executive officer of Cherokee, a global marketer of its own brands (Sideout, Carole Little and others), as well as license deals in family apparel, fashion accessories, footwear, home furnishings and recreational products.

Stupp is a founder of Novel Teez Designs (now NTD Apparel), a multi-divisional fashion apparel supplier for a number of licensed and branded programs. He was with NTD for more than 20 years.

Cherokee has partnerships with TJX (U.S., Canada and Europe) for Carole Little and Shanghai Bolderway (China) for Sideout. The company's other retail clients include Target (U.S.), Tesco (U.K., Ireland and select Central Europe territories), Zellers (Canada), Pick 'n Play (South Africa), Falabella (Chile, Peru and Colombia), Arvind Mills (India and select Middle East countries), Shufersal (Israel), Comerical Mexicana (Mexico), Eroski (Spain) and RT-Mart (China).
