Chapman Entertainment and Haven Licensing signed Australian toy company Big Balloon to be master toy licensee for “Little Charley Bear,” which currently airs on CBeebies in the U.K. and launches on ABC2 in Australia in March.
Big Balloon will distribute a line of pre-school toys including plush, puzzles, play sets and games that will hit shelves in Australia this spring and summer.
“Big Balloon bring to the table amazing energy, focus, experience, and fantastic retail and trade relationships,” says Valerie Fry, director of licensing at Chapman Entertainment. “As a start up company they also have a hunger to succeed, which is exactly what we are looking for on Little Charley Bear!”
