The designer's products will still be sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, Saks Fifth Avenue and on Neiman Marcus’ web site. In addition, the designer will have products in several categories including handbags, accessories, jewelry, women's apparel, home and swimwear.
“With our strong presence in Europe and growing distribution capabilities in Asia, we are uniquely positioned to take the brand global,” says Rick Darling, president of LF USA. referring to expansion in Europe, South America and Asia. “Those plans are being formulated now and we will begin international distribution as quickly as feasible.”
Brand Matter, which owns the rights to Carlos Falchi, announced several other deals at Brand Licensing Europe:
- Wellspun Christie will produce Carribean Joe home and beach products, which will debut in the spring of 2012.
- An exclusive partnership with a major German retailer for its Ellen Tracy brand that will launch next September.
- A new Field & Stream program will launch with a major European retailer in the spring or summer of next year.
