Cake Entertainment has restructured its senior team to equip the company for future growth. Under the new executive structure, Ed Galton will become chief creative officer and managing director, having entered the ownership of the company alongside Tom Van Waveren, chief executive officer and creative director.

Galton will manage the day-to-day business operations and will head up Cake’s distribution arm. Van Waveren will continue to scout for new content, set up new partnerships and oversee the production of Cake shows.

The restructure reflects a period of fast growth and development for the company, which was founded in 2002 and has produced more than 200 half hours of content and distributed more than 750 half hours of programming worldwide.
