Bulldog Licensing has announced a trio of licensing partners for the new design-led brand Tired Ted.

Portico has signed on for greetings cards and calendars; Dreamtex is on board for bedding; and Aykroyds/TDP will launch a nightwear and underwear range that will hit shelves in the run up to Christmas.

Created by designer Innis Stiles and greetings and gifting specialist Richard Stiles, Tired Ted mixes illustrative and photographic art. The brand features a little bear that is a family heirloom and has been loved by several generations. Over the years Tired Ted has developed a philosophical nature and is always contemplating the world around him.

“Tired Ted is the best new design-led property to hit the market for a long time and has the potential to become a major brand,” says Rob Corney, managing director, Bulldog. “There will certainly be plenty more announcements to come as we are dealing with a huge amount of interest in the brand which appeals to a very wide consumer base.”
