Owned by Electronic Arts, the mobile and social game developer is responsible for games including “Bejeweled” and “Plants vs. Zombies.”
Bulldog is now seeking partners throughout Europe for the whole suite of PopCap brands, with an initial focus on “Plants vs. Zombies.”
With a number of discussions already taking place, Bulldog is working on building the brand into collectibles, apparel, housewares and toys.
“Plants vs. Zombies” pits the player, who is armed with an arsenal of zombie-busting plants, against hordes of the undead. The award-winning game has been downloaded more than 120 million times worldwide and boasts 9 million fans on Facebook, with broad appeal across all ages and both genders that has translated successfully into the licensing sector in the U.S. A sequel game is currently in development and will launch next year.
