Brookstone, Dean & Deluca and Fab.com are the newest companies to join the service, which already includes Starbucks and 1-800-Flowers.com.
Facebook Gifts is the result of the media giant’s purchase of the social-gifting mobile app, Karma, back in May in a move to expand into e-commerce.
Introduced in September in the U.S., Facebook Gifts lets users choose gifts for their friends, attach cards and post the gift on the receiver’s timeline or through a personal message. The recipient then can “unwrap” the present to get a preview of the gift and choose a different color, size, flavor or exchange it for something of equal value before the item is shipped.
