Greensource has signed on to create a line of licensed apparel for the Pure Fishing portfolio of brands, in a deal negotiated by Brand Central.

Pure Fishing, a subsidiary of Jarden, contains some of the world’s most well-known fishing brands such as Berkeley, Penn, Abu, Shakespeare, Pflueger, Stren, Fenwick and Spiderwire.

“As an outdoor activity brand, partnering with an environmentally-friendly company like Greensource to expand our apparel categories aligns with our corporate positioning and philosophies,” says John Bartow, senior director of marketing, Pure Fishing.

The license agreement with Greensource will supplement Pure Fishing’s technical apparel offerings by providing fishermen and women with fashionable silhouettes for a fishing lifestyle program.

“Pure Fishing’s brands bring Greensource into a new market, and we are excited to translate their brands into a fashion program at retail,” says Brady Hill, president, Greensource.
