The new London-based agency Boom Licensing has been appointed to represent the wallpaper and fabric designs of Florence Broadhurst, in a new partnership with Australian company Signature Design Archive, rights holder of the Florence Broadhurst design archive.

SDA has already entered a variety of partnerships featuring Florence Broadhurst’s designs including a collaboration with Kate Spade New York for its 2012 fashion and home collections, a partnership with Qantas Airlines and licensed collections in rugs, fabrics and wallpapers.

Boom Licensing will now work to develop the brand’s international licensing program in Europe, securing partners across a range of luxury lifestyle categories including apparel and accessories, home wares and social expression.

“The Florence Broadhurst archive is a true treasure trove of beautiful design inspiration,” said Anna Cartwright, owner, Boom Licensing. “The brand is phenomenally popular around the world. We are delighted to be involved in  increasing the awareness of this rich archive with new customers across Europe.”

Australian painter Florence Broadhurst started her wallpaper business in 1959. Her hand-printed furnishing textiles and wall coverings are still available through interior designers and architects in the U.K. and Europe.
