Burger King branded t-shirts are expected to be available for the holidays and a larger men's collection for spring 2009, says Broad Street Licensing Group.

Mad Engine has signed on to development the t-shirt line, and Exquisite Apparel for an exclusive line of branded men's sleepwear and loungewear featuring Burger King's "King" character. Both lines will be distributed to mass retailers, department stores and specialty shops in the U.S.

Besides the new apparel category, Burger King has teamed up with The Inventure Group for snack chips and Andrews McMeel Publishing for greeting cards. There's also an instant lottery ticket deal in the works.

Currently, Burger King operates more than 11,600 restaurants in the U.S. and in 73 other countries. In addition to Burger King, Broad Street Licensing Group's other clients include Bruegger's Bagels, The Culinary Institute of America, Unilever, Good-Humor Breyers, Bugatti, Snuggle and others.
