CBBC wildlife series "Deadly 60" is getting its own trading card game this week for kids ages 6 to 12, according to BBC Magazines, a division of BBC Worldwide.

The card game is comprised of 165 cards with pictures and facts from creatures featured on the first two seasons of the series. The cards, sold in packs of eight, can be collected, traded and used in gameplay. The range will be available on Aug. 25 at independent retailers and other major retailers in the U.K., including Tesco.

"'Deadly 60' has been a fantastic success on CBBC, encouraging children to find out more about the world's deadliest creatures," says Ceri Murray, head of partworks and collectibles for BBC Magazines. "We are very excited and confident that this new, fun, educational trading card game brings something new to this hugely popular sector of the market."

The launch will be supported through online promotions, competitions and sampling in BBC's and Egmont's children's titles.
