A new museum exhibition, called BBC Earth Explorers, is in development from BBC Earth and Global Experience Specialists. The exhibit is slated to tour across the U.S. over five years.

BBC Earth Explorers will feature a fully interactive exhibition experience, taking visitors behind the scenes of a natural history shoot. Guests will learn the unique ways BBC production teams overcome the challenges faced when filming in extreme climates, remote locations and chaotic environments in order to capture natural history footage. The exhibit will feature footage from the BBC Natural History unit, as well as the story behind the television series "Life." In addition, behind the scenes stories will be updated as the exhibition tours.

"BBC Earth Explorers is an exciting new way for BBC Earth to engage our audience with natural history in new spaces," says Amanda Hill, director of BBC Earth. "This partnership with GES is a landmark new venture for BBC Earth, and we're looking forward to the launch of our first major museum exhibition."
