Bang on the Door Signs 100th Deal

Bang on the Door has signed its 100th contract since the re-launch of its business in 2008. The deal is with Kinnerton Confectionery Australia and was signed by Global Licensing, Bang on the Door's Australia and New Zealand agent.Kinnerton will produce se

Kinnerton will produce seasonal, as well as year-round confectionery and gift sets using Bang on the Door people brands and FABric Animals. The Bang on the Door team have recently added Koala, Kangaroo, Kiwi and Platypus to the FABric Animals family lending creative support to their partners down-under.

Australian publisher, Ice Water Press is expanding its range of FABric Animals story, sticker and activity books and Australian company Jasnor is designing FABric Animals toys.

"We've been working with Kinnerton since 2002 and are over the moon to be bringing them on board with FABric Animals," says Karen Duncan, Bang on the Door's director Karen Duncan.

There are 25 licensees currently using the FABric Animals brand. In the U.K., Next is about to release FABric Animals

kids' clothing. Recent U.K. signings include Bluebird Brands, Shreds and Cotton Crosses. Worldwide, FABric Animals stationery sales are gaining momentum, with licensees reporting sales of £1.2 million ($1.9 million) in the U.K., Brazil and Europe in the last quarter. The FABric Animals brand is now expanding on to other product ranges such as cards, bags and apparel.
