The RSPCA signed soft toy designer and distributor Aurora to produce a range of branded plush animals. Aurora will launch the line at the Autumn Fair with stock available in the market in time for Christmas.

The initial offering of 23 animals will comprise six categories: RSPCA farm animals (cow, pig, sheep, donkey); RSPCA puppies (schnauzer, spaniel, beagle, border collie); RSPCA pets (black and white cat, poodle, tabby cat, dachshund); RSPCA woodland (fox, squirrel, rabbit, deer); RSPCA wild animals (lion, elephant, giraffe, tiger) and RSPCA ponies.

These soft toys will help to raise awareness of many different types of animals the Society helps. A key feature of the presentation of the animals will be an RSPCA tag explaining how RSPCA helps animals and how the public can aid its work.

“The Aurora range is not only appealing, cuddly and beautifully designed but actively promotes RSPCA values and underlines our commitment to all animals," says RSPCA trading manager Cathy Snow. "We are sure the range will be popular at retail, where contributions from its sales will help boost funding of essential RSPCA work to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to animals.”
