Atlantyca Entertainment has secured translation deals in China, where the company established an office in Beijing at the beginning of this year. The new agreements include some of Mondadori's top literary properties, which Atlantyca represents as agent in China.

They will be published by Qingdao Publishing, Tianjin Chinese-World Books and People's Literature Publishing House (publisher of The Harry Potter series in China). Together with previously signed licensing and broadcasting deals, the new translation agreements bring the total number of deals with companies in China to more than 300.

People's Literature Publishing House has secured translation rights for mainland China to three books by Bianca Pitzorno, one of the most famous living authors of classic Italian children's literature, published in Italy by Mondadori. Pitzorno has sold more than 1 million books in Italy and her works have been translated into 10 languages. Qingdao Publishing House has secured translation rights to four of Pizorno's titles. Meanwhile, Tianjin Chinese-World Books has secured rights to Licia Troisi's three-book series "Cronache del Mondo Emerso" ("Chronicles of the Overworld"), which is published in Italy by Mondadori. The series boasts sales of more than €1.5 million ($1.8 million) in Italy and has been sold into 16 languages. In addition, film rights have been sold to an Italian producer.
