Atlantyca Entertainment will attend DISCOP Budapest with new sales in place for the “Geronimo Stilton” television series.

Channel One Russia Worldwide has licensed “Geronimo Stilton” season one and two, to begin airing in September on kid’s channel Carousel. The deal includes broadcast rights for Pay TV and Free TV in Russia, exclusive Pay TV rights in the former USSR countries and non-exclusive Pay TV rights worldwide.

“We are extremely pleased to begin a broadcasting relationship with Channel One Russia, a strong and reliable partner who was introduced to us by our respected colleague at Moonscoop, Maria Conge,” says Luana Perrero, sales manager at Atlantyca Entertainment. “This new deal is crucial to Atlantyca’s 360-degree approach to marketing our most valuable properties through multiple channels in Russia.”

Other deals include a September premiere on LRT (Lithuania’s public broadcaster), which has licensed season one and two as well.

Additional sales include an agreement with Convergent

Media to distribute DVDs in Romania through newspaper publisher Gazeta Sportulilor in 2012, and additional runs to existing contracts on LTV in Latvia, RTP in Portugal and D Smart Pay TV in Turkey.
