Planeta Junior Italia has signed merchandise deals for Maya the Bee with Memory Technology and Sabor.
Memory Technology will create products such as coloring books, activity books and hardcover books for a 2011 launch. Sabor will roll out T-shirts, sweatshirts and bags this December.
"Maya the Bee" has been on television for 30 years on Rai 1 and airs in more than 120 countries worldwide.
