The Collective has partnered with Papercutz for a series of Annoying Orange graphic novels, in a deal brokered by The Joester Loria Group, licensing agent for the brand.

The first title, Secret Agent Orange, will be released this December. Papercutz plans to release three full-color novels each year, in both hardcover and paperback.

The graphic novels will feature all-new original adventures as Orange battles an imposter orange and the CIA.

“We’re very excited about adding Annoying Orange to our line-up,” says Terry Nantier, chief executive officer, Papercutz. “Its goofy and spontaneous humor lends itself perfectly to graphic novels.”

Papercutz joins a burgeoning licensing program for Annoying Orange, including a line of talking plush, clip-ons and collectible figures from The Bridge Direct, as well as apparel and accessories for young men, juniors and boys from Hybrid Apparel, LF USA and Accessory Innovations. A line of costumes from Rubies Costume Company will debut this fall, and electronic accessories from Sakar will be available in time for the holidays.

Last month, Annoying Orange also debuted its new TV series on Cartoon Network.
