Aardman Animation is expanding its grass-roots animation brand Animate It! with a new “Animate It!” app that lets users easily create their own stop-motion animations.

Aardman partnered with Kudlian Software to create “Animate It!,” which is now available for both PCs and Macs.

Animate-It.com is an online destination for young animators, providing hints and tips from Aardman animators and the latest news from behind the scenes of the studios.

The “Animate It!” app makes the technical world of animation studio accessible to everyone. To promote the new app, Aardman enlisted two animation fans who created a video, shot entirely on an iPad, demonstrating the software.
