Rovio Entertainment has announced Angry Birds’ first foray into the world of finances in a new deal with Kaiku Finance for a line of branded, prepaid debit cards.

The Angry Birds re-loadable debit cards will be available in the U.S. in early 2013 in four designs, the Red Bird, the Yellow Bird, Bomb Bird and the Bad Piggies.

“Rovio and Kaiku share a common philosophy in that we love to delight our fans with products that are affordable and packed with great features that fit today’s lifestyle,” says Andrew Stalbow, executive vice president of strategic partnerships and general manager, North America, Rovio.

The Kaiku Angry Birds Visa prepaid card features the ability to re-load funds with direct deposit and from PayPal, a credit card, a bank account or another Kaiku card with no minimum balance requirements.
