Amazon has again taken the top spot in the annual IMRG-Hitwise Hot Shops List for the U.K., which ranks by popularity indicated by visits, the top 100 U.K. e-retailers selling goods and services.
Now in its third year, Amazon has retained the top slot and six of the original May 2006 top 10 brands are still in the top 10 However, the number of e-tailers in the top 10 that have physical stores is up to four from three.
Hitwise reports that the fastest-growing sector in online shopping is clothing, with eight specialist retailers featuring in the top 100.
The top 10 e-tailers in the IMRG-Hitwise list are:

5 Tesco.com
6 Marks & Spencer
7 Epson U.K.
8 Expedia.co.uk
9 Next
10 Asos.com
