American Greetings Properties has announced three executive promotions. Carla Neves has been promoted to senior manager of international licensing, Lauren Sutton has advanced to associate licensing manager of international licensing and Megan Buettner has been elevated to vice president global brands.
In her new role as senior manager of international licensing, Neves will be responsible for maintaining and growing the merchandise, promotions, publishing and retail programs of AGP’s licensed properties in Asia Pacific and Latin America. She will also play a key role in managing all aspects of brand development and strategies for Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake and new properties. Neves has been with AGP since 2008 and most recently served as manager of international licensing
In her newly promoted role, Sutton will now be responsible for managing AGP’s licensing business across EMEA as the associate licensing manager of international licensing. Sutton will focus on continuing to expand the presence of Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake and Holly Hobbie in European markets, as well as strategically entering new markets and identifying growth opportunities. Sutton has been with AGP since 2009 and was previously the international licensing specialist for the EMEA markets.
Both Neves and Sutton will be reporting to Carla Silva, vice president of global licensing.
Buettner has been with American Greetings since 2005 and most recently served as creative director for the retail design and experience department, where she oversaw the design execution for all AG retail initiatives. In her new role as vice president of global brands, Buettner will be responsible for the direction and production of all creative materials related to AGP’s legacy brands including Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake. Buettner will report to Ryan Wiesbrock, vice president of creative.
