American Greetings Properties and its Asia Pacific agent MediaLink have announced two new partners for Care Bears live events in the region: Alikhan Live Entertainment and The Life Like Company.

Alikhan Live Entertainment will launch Care Bears meet-and-greets and a musical stage show this holiday season in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The Life Like Company has signed on for Care Bears live events in Australia and New Zealand, including meet-and-greets and a 30-minute musical show that will use a combination of pre-recorded character voicing and a live human host.

“As we prepare for the global re-launch of our lovable Care Bears, we are thrilled to be working with Alikhan Live Entertainment and The Life Like Company in bringing Care Bears live events to South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand,” says Carla Silva, vice president of global licensing, AGP. “These musical shows and meet-and-greets are a great way to share the Care Bears’ universal messages of caring and sharing with a new generation of fans in the region.”

A new television series “Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot” was launched on The Hub in the U.S. earlier this year.
