American Greetings Properties and licensing agent Medialink signed two major deals for Care Bears in Taiwan. Stage and Mego International Promotion have signed on as new licensees in the region.

Stage, a brand and retailer in Asia, has signed on to create messenger bags, backpacks, tote bags, cosmetic pouches and coin purses co-branded with Manhattan Portage. The limited edition line will be sold in Stage shops in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

Mego International Promotion, an online apparel company in Taiwan, will sell Care Bears t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, t-shirt and pant sets, underwear and vests for kids and teens. Products will be distributed through the company's website.
