American Greetings Properties has extended its partnership with Exim Licensing Group for the Care Bears brand in South America and inked several new licensees in Brazil and Chile.

Under the multi-year representation renewal, Exim will continue to work with AGP to further expand the presence of the Care Bears in South America.

Exim is already hard at work with a series of new deals secured in Brazil for the Care Bears, known locally as Ursinhos Carinhosos. Licensee Tilibra recently debuted its Care Bears stationery line; JML Comercio de Presentes will release a collection of dinnerware in October; and Emoly plans to launch a health and beauty line next month that will include shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, nail polish and lip gloss.

Additionally, Libesa has joined the Care Bears program in Chile with a line of notebooks.
