CLM has secured a deal with Wimpy Restaurants for a Strawberry Shortcake quick service restaurant promotion in South Africa. Consumers will receive a Strawberry Shortcake themed promotional product with the purchase of any Wimpy Food 4 Kids meal this month.
All 450 Wimpy Restaurants in the region are participating in the promotion including locations in South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland, Mozambique and Zambia. In December 2011, consumers received an inflatable ball, guitar, microphone, air mattress or surf board with each Food 4 Kids meal purchase. January premiums include back-to-school products such as a pencil case, tins of crayons, stationery sets, sketch pads with stickers or a lunch box.
