Aardman Rights has secured presales with broadcasters in France and Germany for its new TV series "Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention." France Télévisions and Super RTL have acquired the 6x30 inventions-inspired show, fronted and presented by the Oscar-winning duo and commissioned by BBC One for broadcast in late 2010.

The series, which includes a combination of live-action and animation, has already been sold to ABC Australia, DR Denmark, YLE Finland and Thai PBS.

As part of this deal, France Télévisions is coming on board with the Wallace & Gromit franchise, taking the rights for all four short films plus the "Cracking Contraptions" TV series. France Télévisions will also pick up the rights to seasons 1 and 2 of the children's series "Shaun the Sheep."

Super RTL has also acquired the third season of the preschool show "Timmy Time," due for delivery in 2011.
