Aardman Makes MipTV a World of Invention

Aardman Animations is heading to MipTV with its new live action/animation series “Wallace & Gromit Present A World of Invention,” along with the second season of “Shaun the Sheep” and preschool favorite “Timmy Time.&rdquo

Commissioned by BBC One, the inventions-inspired show “Wallace & Gromit Present A World of Invention,” which is fronted and presented by Wallace and Gromit, has already been pre-bought by ABC Australia with several other deals in the pipeline. Aardman Rights will be presenting the series to international buyers at MipTV 2010 to secure further broadcast deals.

“Wallace & Gromit Present A World of Invention” takes a light-hearted and humorous look at real-life contraptions, gadgets and inventions. The series is expected to broadcast in late 2010 on the BBC and aims to inspire a whole new generation of innovative minds by showing them real, but mind-boggling, machines and inventions from around the world that have influenced Wallace’s “illustrious” inventing career.
