4Kids Entertainment International has signed three more licensees for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, including Panini and others.

The partners include:

  • Panini for a pan-European deal covering sticker album collections, sticker packets, sticker sheets and stick and stack activity books, as well as wall calendars across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Panini sticker products are scheduled to launch in fall 2010, before rolling out across Western and Eastern Europe later in the year and will be available in book stores, department stores, home video rental chains, kiosks, news agents, independent and mass retailers, toy chains and online. The calendars are currently available in book, toy and comic shops, as well as Amazon, and are expected to go into newsstands from end of August.

  • Giochi Preziosi  is set to publish an official 5D’s magazine in Italy. The official Italian magazine is scheduled to launch in October at news agents and kiosks.

  • Les Livres Du Dragon D’or will release sticker books, look-and-find books and coloring books across France and several French-speaking territories. The products are scheduled to go on sale in 2011. This new activity adds to an already impressive licensing program for the brand, which is represented across a range of sectors including toys, video games, apparel, BTS, stationery and games.

Meanwhile, the launch of a new global hub at Yugioh.com is scheduled for November. The site will integrate all facets of the brand, including TV, TCGs, toys, video games, publishing and licensed products and feature detailed information about the characters and storylines from the past 10 years of Yu-Gi-Oh!, GX and 5D’s. The site will kick off the 10th anniversary of the franchise, with the much anticipated 3-D film scheduled to launch in 2011.
