“Angry Birds” will be outfitted with NFL logos and more.

NORTH AMERICA–The National Football League and Rovio Entertainment have partnered to bring fans a unique mobile game experience, just ahead of Super Bowl LII.

“The Angry Birds Evolution Super Bowl LII” will showcase 32 NFL characters within the game and offer players a chance to get an exclusive new bird character called the Quarterback, who will be outfitted in an NFL team jersey.

“Our partnership with Rovio Entertainment illustrates the NFL’s desire to engage fans through unique experiences,” says Michelle Micone, senior vice president, Consumer Products, NFL. “The Angry Birds portfolio provides an excellent platform to reach millions of mobile gamers and football fans around the world.”

The Super Bowl LII in-game events will debut in games “Angry Birds 2” and “Angry Birds Evolution” on Jan. 24 and run until Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 4. The game is now available in the Apple App store and Google Play.
