King Digital Entertainment has launched another title to the Candy Crush game lineup, “Candy Crush Soda Saga,” for iOS and Android devices and Facebook.
Designed to be played alongside the original “Candy Crush Saga,” this next installment introduces features for players who love the gameplay and story of the first title and are looking for fun, fresh challenges. Players will return to the world of Candy Kingdom with new environments, new candies and characters and new game modes featuring candy combinations brimming with purple soda.
“Candy Crush Soda Saga” presents five new game modes, including:
· Soda–Fill the board with fizzy purple soda
· Soda Bears–Release bears floating in soda
· Frosting–Fight to crush the ice to free bears
· Honey–Release bears stuck in the honey
· Chocolate–Remove all the chocolate from the board
“We’re excited to offer our players the chance to experience the next installment in the franchise now that ‘Candy Crush Soda Saga’ is available on mobile devices,” says Sebastian Knutsson, chief creative officer, King. “We continue to be astounded by the global success of Candy Crush and the initial response to ‘Candy Crush Soda Saga’ since it launched on Facebook last month, has been positive. King is also developing a broad licensing program for the brand, which was featured in the October License! Global story, "The Next Level."
