The popular video game will be extended in the coming year with new merchandise and content.
NORTH AMERICA–StudioMDHR and King Features have unveiled plans to develop a new branding campaign that will build further expand the “Cuphead” merchandising program at retail and extend the game into original content.
King Features is now looking to build upon its initial lineup of products, which come from licensees such as Funko, Fifth Sun, Just Funky, Underboss NYC, Accutime and Bottleneck Gallery.
“With people clamoring for more and more ‘Cuphead,’ we look forward to building relationships with new merchandisers to fulfill the demand for ‘Cuphead’ products,” says Jarred Goro, senior director, North American licensing, King Features. “There is so much potential for this property franchise, and we’re excited to see what will come next.”
