Unique Vintage Launches Popeye Collection

Collaboration celebrates Popeye and Olive Oyl.

Unique Vintage has released a capsule collection featuring Popeye. The collection of vintage-inspired pieces celebrating characters, Popeye and Olive Oyl, features retro colors and prints. Product offerings include graphic tees, printed dresses and a romper, available in sizes XS-5X.

"Needless to say, this collaboration brought back waves of nostalgia," says Katie Echeverry, founder, chief executive officer, Unique Vintage. "For the Popeye x Unique Vintage collaboration, we wanted to celebrate the whimsy of the characters, while incorporating a few nautical nods (colors, stripes, anchors). The collaboration evolved naturally as Popeye’s inherent retro vibe really lent itself to our aesthetic. The Olive Oyl romper was a particularly fun piece to develop! We love Olive Oyl’s classic red/black/white outfit and wanted to recreate it in a modern-vintage way. We chose to design a romper that had a similar silhouette to the classic outfit but one that could offer fans more wearability. We love all the pieces in the collection and are so excited to share it with fans!"
