Puffa and Topshop have united to exclusively sell its ‘Jodie’ jacket both in store and on topshop.com in the U.S. and U.K.

The Licensing Company, who represents Puffa, brokered the deal.

The iconic metallic jacket is a key piece from the women’s collection and pays homage to the ‘90s with a throwback reference to the iconic, metallic jacket worn by supermodel Jodie Kidd in her first ever modeling shoot.

The ‘Jodie’ comes in metallic silver and black, and will be promoted extensively by Topshop in store, online and through social media.

The brand was re-launched in 2012 through a licensing agreement with Chilli Apparel. Puffa will have new international distribution with partners Deluxe in Germany, Interjeans in Italy and Fauster and Blum in France. There are also future plans for distribution in the U.S., Japan, China and Korea. A recent new agreement with the Flyers Group will see the launch of a Puffa Kids collection in 2015.

Created in 1974 by Penny Rogers after she was inspired by sewing together eiderdown quilts, Puffa became the ‘must have’ brand of the ‘70s and ‘80s, loved and worn by sports personalities and royalty including Lady Diana.
