Fashion designer Odain Watson has revealed he is working with “Tiger King’s” Joe Exotic on a clothing line, according to In Touch Weekly. The collaboration, called “The Revenge Line,” is in the works.

“The best revenge is success, and that’s what Joe stands for, and he’s really excited about it,” Watson told In Touch. “He’s not down and out. He’s talking about his projects and all he has going on. I’m a gay minority designer, and Joe is a fellow gay person. That connection of being the outsider, we connected on that level of being the underdog. That’s how we connected; he loved my energy.”

The Odain website calls the collaboration, which will include streetwear items, “bold, iconic, edgy and Odaingerously unapologetic.”

Joe Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is currently serving a 22-year federal prison sentence. He has been communicating with Watson through multiple letters. Watson pitched the idea of the collaboration and its theme to Exotic, telling the docuseries star he “admired his ambition and perseverance.”

According to In Touch, the collaboration is under a contract, signed on April 30, that will last for six months. The initial collection pre-launched on May 2, selling out within an hour and raking in $20,000.

According to Watson, he and Exotic are in talks to expand the line into briefs and lingerie, with Exotic’s husband Dillon possibly contributing to the collection and working as a model for the line.

More details about the collaboration will be announced soon.
