Target Unveils New Kids' Fashion Brand

New line, Art Class, will add to the retailer's robust children's lineup, beginning Jan. 22.

The new brand comes on the heels of last year's introduction of Target's Cat & Jack kids' apparel brand, which replaced the retailer's former apparel partnership with Cherokee.

The initial Art Class line, called The Class of 2017, will feature more than 100 items including graphic tees, knit joggers, cut-off shorts, gauze dresses and more. Similar to Cat & Jack, Target also tapped kids to help design the range.

The Art Class brand will launch in all Target stores and online at Target.com, beginning Jan. 22, with new products rolling out every four to eight weeks. The kidswear brand will also feature limited edition, capsule collections on an ongoing basis.

"Over the past year, our teams have reimaged our assortment for kids, and guests have loved the introduction of new Target brands including Pillowfort and Cat & Jack," says Michelle

Wlazlo, senior vice president, apparel and accessories, Target. "Art Class provides kids, and their parents, another great reason to choose Target. The line gives kids the ability to have fun with their fashion-creating looks that are truly their own and truly original-all while offering moms and dads with the value and convenience their busy lives demand."
