Fashion brand turns to IMG to develop licensing deals in travel, electronics and lifestyle categories.

Fashion brand Superdry has appointed IMG to develop its licensing program worldwide.

The deal will see IMG broaden Superdry’s portfolio of licensed products to include new products for previously untapped categories. IMG is currently searching for deals in verticals such as luggage, travel-related items, personal accessories, consumer electronics and sporting goods.

“We look forward to working with IMG and partnering with other brands as Superdry enters the next stage of its growth,” says Julian Dunkerton, chief executive officer, Superdry. “IMG’s extensive licensing experience with fashion brands makes it the ideal partner and we are excited to explore creative opportunities that best resonate with Superdry’s brand.”

Superdry joins other brands in the IMG portfolio including Refinery29 and Casio.
