Scout Store and IMPS, the blue-skinned characters' official licensors, have extended their licensing collaboration until the end of 2023.

This new agreement will give Scout Store the possibility of increasing and enhancing Smurfs' co-branded products' portfolio, building on the first successful range of products launched in 2018.

Scout Store has since launched more than 15 products, from clothing to accessories, showcasing different bespoke Scout Smurf designs created by the Belgian studio. This co-branded range has proved very popular among UK Scouts, both with children and parents, resulting in thousands of units sold during this partnership's first three years.

This licensing agreement with the Smurfs is the continuation of Scout Store's licensing strategy that will see the Scouts' commercial branch collaborating with well-known brands and entities.

"We're thrilled to renew our collaboration with Scout Store," says Véronique Culliford, president, IMPS and the daughter of Peyo, the creator of the Smurfs. "Scouts and the Smurfs share the same enthusiasm for nature and caring for their community. We are proud to see the Smurfs being so popular among UK Scouts."
