The Valentine’s Day centered products feature two distinct collections: “Locket Down” and “Down the Aisle.” The campaign for the line features a neon-covered bedroom with models Joan Smalls, Paloma Elsesser, Adesuwa and Fiffany. It is aimed at celebrating inclusivity and highlights women of all sizes and races.
“I couldn’t imagine anyone other than Adam [Selman] for Savage x Fenty’s first designer collaboration,” says Rihanna. “Adam is everything the brand stands for – fun, playful, sexy.”
Though this is Savage x Fenty’s first time teaming with an outside party, Adam Selman has a history of fashion collaborations with Rihanna. Selman designed a see-through Swarovski crystal gown for the singer-turned entrepreneur, which she wore to accept the inaugural Fashion Icon Award at the 2014 CFDA Awards.
"When Rihanna asked me to collaborate on Savage x Fenty, it was a resounding YES," adds
. "She has been such a force in the fashion industry, and we have worked together so seamlessly through the years. Her unapologetic approach and on-the-pulse instincts have always kept her one step ahead. We worked on every concept and detail of this collection together. Have you ever seen Rihanna fit a bra and panty? If not, you’re missing out.”
The Savage x Fenty Adam Selman Capsule Collection is now available, with additional drops planned through April 2020.
