Saks Builds 'Empire' Collection

High-end retailer to feature collection of curated items from top designers inspired by the Fox series.

Saks Fifth Avenue is bringing the fashion of Twentieth Century Fox's drama "Empire" to its stores with a series of curated collections inspired by the series.

The partnership will feature curated collections from luxury fashion brands that tap into the aesthetic of the show's main characters. Among the products that will be included in the collection are fine jewelry from Alexis Bittar, women’s ready-to-wear from Cushnie et Ochs, men’s and women’s footwear from Jimmy Choo and handbags and accessories from MCM.

“This unprecedented partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, Alexis Bittar, Cushnie et Ochs, Jimmy Choo and MCM celebrates 'Empire's' mark on the fashion world,” says Jeffrey Godsick, president, Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products. “The influence 'Empire' has had on so many aspects of popular culture proves it has the ingredients to become a standalone fashion brand.”

The "Empire" curated collection will be available at select Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide and on Saks' website, as well as via each brand's website and some stand-alone retail locations.

Exclusive "Empire" windows will be on display at Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York and Beverly Hills flagships from Sep. 10 through Oct. 7, and "Empire" actor Trai Byers is featured on the cover of Saks Fifth Avenue’s fall magalog.

In addition, Saks will host a September launch event in New York and multiple men’s luxury made-to-measure suiting events throughout September and October at locations in New York, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Boston, Houston, Bal Harbour, San Francisco and Atlanta.

The second season of "Empire" will premiere on Fox Sept. 23.
