Saban Brands has signed The Mercer House as the global footwear licensee for its lifestyle brand Macbeth and appointed apparel partners in North America, Australia and New Zealand.

Established in 2002 with rock music as its muse, Macbeth was created as a footwear line for musicians and has since expanded into a complete collection of apparel and accessories.

The Mercer House will serve as Macbeth’s global footwear partner and as the apparel and accessories in North America. Brian Krauss, former founder of the skateboarding apparel brand IPath, will serve as president of The Mercer House's new Macbeth division. The Mercer House will launch its first Macbeth footwear and apparel lines this fall.

“I see amazing international potential through this partnership," says Krauss. "With elevated product, expansive marketing plans and music as the universal language for our target demographic, we project the Macbeth business to grow exponentially.”

Additionally, North Hill has signed on as the exclusive Australia and New Zealand apparel licensee for the brand. The company's fall/winter Macbeth line just launched at David Jones in Australia. North Hill will also offer its design and sourcing resources to current and future retailers and licensees of the Macbeth brand.

“The Mercer House and North Hill are highly regarded in the footwear and apparel industries," says Dan Castle, managing director, Saban Brands. "We are thrilled to partner with best-in-class licensees like them as we take Macbeth to the next level.”
