Rubies Costume Company has acquired the Colorado-based costume company Princess Paradise.

“We are thrilled to announce this acquisition, which is consistent with our strategy of expanding into new markets that present clear opportunities for growth,” says Howard Beige, executive vice president, Rubies. “Princess Paradise has built a stellar reputation for quality in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-end costumes to retailers across the country.”

Princess Paradise will continue to operate out of Fort Collins, Colo., with current president Diana Clements staying on to lead Rubies’ new Princess Paradise division.

“This union brings an outstanding group of people, as well as their impressive customer base, which will build on our overall position in the upscale costume markets,” says Marc Beige, president, Rubies. “We are excited about combining our financial strength with Princess Paradise’s strong leadership and reputation for absolute excellence.”
