BCI will develop a new apparel line for the BBC cartoon series “Roobarb and Custard,” which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

The deal was brokered by Bulldog Licensing, which represents Roobarb and Custard for licensing.

The line will include kids' and adult apparel, nightwear, underwear, ladies’ swimwear, footlets, knickers and sock gift sets.

“We are delighted to have BCI on boards, and I’m sure this new range will perform very well at retail as everyone knows and loves Roobarb and Custard,” says Rob Corney, managing director, Bulldog Licensing.

BCI joins a strong roster of Roobarb and Custard licensees including Flametree for calendars, Fred and Ginger for pet accessories, Brazier & Company for plush and Museum and Galleries for greeting cards.
