Red Eye Apparel has acquired the master license to menswear brand Chereskin and recruited the brands founder, Ron Chereskin, to act as creative director.

Red Eye has signed new deals to re-launch the apparel line.

J.E.M. International is on board to produce a fashion-driven men’s underwear collection to debut in summer 2012. Red Eye has also signed a deal with Respekt Wear Apparel of New York to produce a line of premium tailored clothing, priced from $275 to $700. The line is slated for a fall 2012 launch.

“Chereskin is a fantastic business,” says Martin Erani, chief executive officer, Red Eye Apparel. “The line already enjoys excellent distribution and awareness. Ron is something of an all American hero in menswear. We are excited to do great work together.”

“Ron revolutionized the menswear industry in the 70s and 80s and we are confident he will do the same in the suiting arena with this effort,” says Vince Marrone, chief executive officer for Respekt. “His keen knowledge of current men’s trends and contemporary pricing will make for a standout collection for the young, fashion aware man.”
