Fashion label Psycho Bunny has signed a multi-year deal with the Japanese licensee Itochu to develop an upscale accessories program.

Genius Brands International, Psycho Bunny's global licensing agent, brokered the deal.

The first collections debuted at upscale department stores in Japan last fall and included belts, bags, umbrellas, scarves, headwear, underwear, socks, shoes, loungewear, jewelry, watches, handkerchiefs, sunglasses, golf bags and golf accessories. An expanded assortment will launch at retail this spring.

"Psycho Bunny, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2015, has had a strong presence in Japan since the brand's debut," says Robert Godley, co-founder, Psycho Bunny. "Enhancing our current business with Fairfax in Japan, our licensee since 2005, with a best-in-class partner like Itochu will allow our brand ambassadors to complement their style through accessorizing from top to bottom and for any occasion."

Psycho Bunny boasts a full roster of licensing partners that round out its core sportswear collections including Leg Resource for hosiery, S3 for footwear and JRM Accessories for headwear, all of which will be introducing products this fall. The Apparel Partnership Group, Psycho Bunny's partner for loungewear and men's basics, is entering its third season following a debut in spring 2014.

GBI is actively seeking partners to expand that Psycho Bunny brand into additional categories including outerwear, woven shirts, bottoms, denim, bags and luggage, women's, children's, active wear, fragrance, electronics and more. The agency is also developing the brand internationally and is in discussions with potential partners in Asia, Europe and South America.
