The deal will see Poetic Brands create products inspired by U.K. auto brands Rover, Austin, Austin-Healey and MG. The auto brands’ logos will appear on a diverse mixture of adult apparel. Poetic Brands worked with LMI, who has been developing the British Motor Heritage licensing program.
“We are very excited to be working with these classic motoring brands,” says Elliott Matthews, executive director, Poetic Brands. “All four have gone through various logo designs over the years, which gives us some fantastic imagery to work with, and we’ll be able to create an apparel range that stands out and has real appeal to motoring fans.”
The deal with classic U.K. auto brands continues Poetic Brands’ nostalgic partnership streak. Most recently, the apparel company launched a line of clothes inspired by ‘90s brand illustration Fido Dido.
